What this guide keeps current

MKEstuff checks the main service links and stable locations. Live provider pages remain the source for appointments, eligibility, schedules, prices, and available space.

Food pantry and meal-site schedules can change frequently, so the guide sends you to Hunger Task Force’s current map instead of copying a schedule that may become outdated.

Location coordinates were checked using the listed provider addresses. Map points and distances are approximate.

Milwaukee resource questions

Where should I start if I am not sure which service I need?

Call 211. It is a free, 24-hour Milwaukee-area referral service for non-emergency food, housing, health, financial, and other social-service needs.

Does MKEstuff decide whether I qualify for assistance?

No. MKEstuff helps you find the responsible program and its current application or contact information. The agency or provider decides eligibility, availability, and benefits.

Why are food pantries not copied onto the MKEstuff map?

Pantry days, hours, requirements, and capacity change frequently. The guide links to the live Hunger Task Force map so you can check the provider-maintained information before traveling.

Are all of these services free?

Some are free, some are low-cost or use a suggested contribution, and others depend on eligibility or the program you choose. Each result links to the current source for costs and requirements.

What locations are shown on the map?

The map contains stable community centers, City health centers, County senior centers, the Milwaukee Justice Center, the Coggs Health and Human Services Center, and the Rental Housing Resource Center. Changing service sites stay on their provider’s live directory.
