Oil-based paint goes to Home HazMat. For latex paint, Home HazMat is easiest; fully dried latex paint may go in the trash.

- Take oil-based paint, stain, and varnish to MMSD Home HazMat.
- Home HazMat also accepts latex paint, up to 20 gallons per visit. Oil-based paint has no limit.
- If discarding latex paint in the green cart, dry it completely in the can and leave the lid off so collection crews can see it is solid.
